Cellar
· One of the two old-fashioned dining rooms is located in the cellar. This is actually a folk-style tavern (winery), called
by the local people "mehana". Its walls are made of special big stones and decorated with interesting
Bulgarian ornaments. The fire-place and the big traditional ceramic oven attached to it, along with a small water
fountain, a reflection of the hostess’s love for this place, make the atmosphere quite special. This is one
of the reasons why the mehana has witnessed many pleasant gatherings around the massif wooden table in the cold
winter evenings when the calming view of the burning fire warms body and soul.
· The winery also features kid’s corner, arranged for the safe play of our younger
guests.
Ground Floor
· Entering the ground floor from the main entrance you will find yourself in a small corridor.
To the right is the door to the kitchen, which is equipped with most of the necessary appliances – stove with
two cookers and an oven, refrigerator, coffee-machine.
· To the left is one of the two bathrooms and also the staircase, connecting the corridor
with the cellar and the second floor.
Straight against the main house entrance is the entrance to the living-room. The ground floor features a spacious
living room, furnished with a sofa, two arm-chairs, small coffee table, TV and a fire place. Our guests usually use
it to spend some quiet time in the evenings, drink their morning coffee, have some fun with the kids.
· Just next to the living-room, separated only by a walk-in door, is the second old-style
dining-room. It is fitted with wooden furniture (table, chairs, couches) and decorated with traditional Bulgarian
items like small carpets, table-cloths, copper sets, etc. For more convenience it is connected to the kitchen by a
small opening in the wall through which dishes may be served directly in and out.
· The ground floor dining-room is also directly connected to the house veranda, presenting
a magnificent view of the mountain to the Borovets resort and to the highest peak on the Balkan Peninsula –
Mousala. In pleasant weather the visitors of the villa may sit on the veranda to sun-bathe, have a drink or meal or
just to enjoy the pleasant panorama, while the children are playing in the yard.
Second Floor
· The second floor features three comfortable independent bedrooms. Two of them are furnished with double beds
and are connected to the second-floor terrace discovering a beautiful panoramic view of the village and the surrounding
mountain hills. The third bedroom is fitted with two single beds. The wooden furniture and ceilings along with various
folk-style items placed around by the loving hand of the house hostess contribute to the general atmosphere of quiet comfort
and relaxation.
· Additional beds may be placed if needed in any of the bedrooms.
· The second bathroom, equipped with a bathtub, is also located on this floor.
